Mahelam Health Care Return Policy Statement

General Policy:

 

  • Generally, there is no return or exchange of products once purchased, except under specific circumstances.

Eligible Conditions for Return/Exchange:

Returns are primarily accepted only if one of the following conditions is met:

  1. Wrong Product Dispatched: If you mistakenly received a product different from what you ordered.

  2. Tampered/Damaged Package: If the package arrived in a visibly tampered or damaged condition.

  3. Short Expiry: If the product has a short expiry period (less than 3 months from the date of delivery).

  4. Expired Product Delivery: If you received a product that is already expired.

  5. Defective/Damaged Product (Post-Delivery): If the product itself is found to be defective or damaged.

Initiating a Return/Refund/Replacement:

  • To request a refund or replacement, you must send an email to mahelamhealthcare@gmail.com  within 24 hours of the order delivery.

  • Your email should include:

    • Your Order Number

    • Images of the wrong product, damaged/tampered product, or near/expired products.

Return Process & Conditions:

  • Mahelam Health Care will typically reply to your email within two days after receipt of your mail.

  • If a return is approved, you may be required to keep the product safe, saleable, and undamaged in its original packaging.

  • Retain the invoice and original manufacturer's packing for successful pick-up and return.

  • Allow 5 to 10 days from the day of receipt of your returned package for processing. They may contact you for further details about the product.

Ineligibility for Return/Refund:

Returns will not be accepted in the following scenarios:

  • Failure to provide adequate information about the case.

  • Failure to provide snapshots of the invoice, packet, and box (if any).

  • Damages due to neglect, improper usage, or wrong application.

  • Exchange of products due to allergic reactions or palatability issues.

  • If the product is not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to Mahelam Health Care's error.

  • Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery (though the 24-hour notification is key).

  • For "sample page" policies, perishable goods (food, flowers, newspapers, magazines), intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases, gift cards, downloadable software products, and some health and personal care items may be exempt from returns.

Refunds:

  • Refunds will be processed through the original payment method (to cards or bank accounts). No cash refunds will be made.

  • It may take 5 to 7 business days post refund initiation for the online refund to be processed, and up to 7-10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

  • Sale items are generally not eligible for refunds; only regular-priced items may be refunded.

Shipping for Returns:

  • You will generally be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the item.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund.

  • For more expensive items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as receipt of your returned item is not guaranteed.
